Syntax

The syntax for the rmv-from-file command is:

nift rmv-from-file file
nsm rmv-from-file file

Description

The rmv-from-file command is for deleting/removing large volumes of files from a project. The file outlining files to delete/remove should have one name specified on each line.

Note: the file with delete/remove information can have empty lines and comment lines beginning with '#' and you should quote any names containing spaces.

Note: rmv-from-file and rmv-dir are much more convenient for deleting/removing large volumes of files than rmv.

Example

Example of rmv-from-file being used:

nift rmv-from-file to-del.txt
nsm rmv-from-file to-rmv.txt
